Navneet Perfumery

Navneet Perfumery sits at No. 6 on the 6th Cross in the Madhuvan area. We are on the 2nd Main, East Road, in Byatraynpura, right off the busy Mysore Road. If you’ve ever driven down Mysore Road, you know the noise from the trucks and buses. Once you turn into our lane, it gets a little quieter. Our place is more of a workshop than a shop. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of the ingredients. It’s a strong mix of scents that sticks to your clothes. The space is quite packed with bottles of all sizes and various sacks of raw materials. We don’t have a fancy display area. Most of the stuff is kept on simple wooden shelves that go up to the ceiling. A few of us work here, measuring things out and filling orders. It’s a hands-on kind of job with lots of manual work. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to make a path to the back. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The floor is just plain concrete, which is good because we sometimes have spills. We don’t spend money on advertising or making the place look pretty for visitors. We just focus on getting the mixtures right and the bottles filled. Most of our regular customers have been coming to us for a long time and know exactly where we are located. It’s a simple way to do business.
