Navkar Clinic

This clinic is at No. 63/748 in the Chitrakut Apartment building. We are located right opposite the Parasnagar BRTS stop in Naranpura. Because the bus stop is right there, we see a lot of people getting on and off all day long. Navkar Clinic itself is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just walk in. It is a small space, mostly just a waiting area and one consultation room. The apartment building is an older one, so the walls have that thick, sturdy feel. We have a few plastic chairs lined up against the wall for patients. There is a small fan that blows air around, but it still gets a bit stuffy when there are more than three or four people waiting. We keep our records in some old folders on a shelf behind the desk. Most of the people who come here live in Chitrakut or the nearby apartments. We know many of them by name because they have been coming here for years. The sounds of the BRTS buses stopping and starting are like a clock for us. When the big bus rumbles, we know it is another fifteen minutes past. We do not have any high-tech gadgets in the front, just a thermometer and a blood pressure cuff on the desk. It is a very humble operation, just a small neighborhood clinic in Naranpuran where we help out with common ailments and basic health checks.
