At National Process Pvt. Ltd, our work is spread across three plots, 372, 373, and 374, inside the G.I.D.C in Odhav. We are right opposite Neptune Textile, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Being in the industrial estate means there is always a lot of movement—trucks coming in with supplies and tempos leaving with finished goods. It’s a busy atmosphere every single day. The floors are concrete and usually have some stains from the various processes we run. We have a lot of tanks and pipes running along the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. The guys working here are mostly from the surrounding areas and have been with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of meetings; we just get our instructions in the morning and start the machines. Lunchtime is the only time the place gets quiet, and you’ll see everyone sitting in the shade of the loading dock. It’s hard work, especially when the humidity is high, but that’s just the nature of the business in Odhav. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just process what needs processing and make sure the batches are right before they go out the gate. It’s a steady, honest way to make a living for all of us working here on the G.I.D.C plots.
