Being located in Narol means dealing with a lot of dust and the sound of heavy trucks going past all the time. Our spot is B 310 in the Shree Ram Residency, which is right near the Lambha turning. If you miss that turning, you end up going way out of your way, so we always tell people to look for it. We are also right opposite the Central Ware House, which is a massive landmark that helps people find us. Inside Sharma Fabrics, it’s mostly just rows and rows of fabric rolls. They are heavy and take up a lot of room, so the place feels a bit crowded most days. The air has that specific smell of new cloth and a little bit of grease from the nearby workshops. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just us moving rolls around and checking orders under the tube lights. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with a calculator and a very old ledger book. Sometimes it gets really hot in the afternoon because of the way the sun hits the residency building. We just keep the door open and hope for a breeze. The floor is usually covered in little bits of lint and thread that we sweep up at the end of the week. It’s hard work, and your back usually aches by five o'clock, but we are used to it by now. It’s just a regular business in a busy industrial part of town and we like it here.
