Omkara Infrastructure

Our spot is right near the Shahwadi Octroi Naka, across from the Cozi Hotel. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks and people moving through at all hours. Omkara Infrastructure has been operating from here for a while now. The noise from the road is something you just get used to after a week or so. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with suppliers who are passing through the Naka. It’s a handy location for getting materials delivered, though the traffic can be a real headache sometimes. We aren't doing anything revolutionary or high-tech. We just put up buildings and try to make sure they stand up straight. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with papers and samples of tiles or paint. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather put that into the actual projects. Some days we are ahead of schedule and other days we are just chasing our tails. That is just how the construction business is. We have a small crew and we all know each other’s business. We try to be helpful when people stop by to ask about what we are building next. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordination between different teams. We don't use scripts or prepared speeches. We just talk about the work as it is. It’s a decent living and we like seeing the progress day by day.
