Dep Agro Machineries is located in the Narol area of Ahmedabad, right near Kashiram Textiles. If you know Narol, you know it’s a major industrial hub with a lot of textile mills and factories. The air is always thick with the sound of industry. We work with agricultural machinery, so we have a lot of big steel parts and heavy equipment moving through our yard. It gets very hot here in the summer, and the workshop can feel like an oven, but we just get on with it. Most of our day involves assembling parts or checking over machines before they are sent out to farms. We have grease on our clothes and dirt under our fingernails most of the time. It’s a gritty job, but someone has to do it. The textile mill nearby is a huge operation, so there’s a constant flow of people and vehicles around us. We have a small office for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the shop floor. We don’t use any big marketing slogans; we just show people the machines and let them see for themselves how they’re built. It’s about being practical and providing equipment that actually works in the field. We’ve been in Ahmedabad for years, and this spot in Narol has been our home for a good chunk of that time. It’s a noisy, busy, and productive place to spend the day.
