Ravi Industries

Our shop is over at Plot No. 1602 in Phase 1 of the GIDC. If you spend any time in this area, you already know it’s mostly dust and the constant sound of metal hitting metal. We’ve been at this specific spot for quite a bit of time now. The exterior walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody here really has the extra time to worry about aesthetics when there are orders waiting to be filled. We usually have the large shutter doors rolled all the way up to let some air circulate because it gets incredibly hot inside the building during the afternoons. The small tea stall just down the road is where most of our crew heads when they need a quick break from the heat and the noise. Ravi Industries isn't a place for people in suits or long, drawn-out meetings. We mostly just stand at the machines and make sure everything is spinning and cutting exactly the way it should be. Some days are slow and we just spend the time cleaning the tools or fixing the lights, while other days are a total scramble to finish a large batch for a client. We don’t have a fancy reception area, just a small, cluttered desk with a lot of papers and a phone that rings way more than it probably should. We just keep our heads down and do the job as it comes. It’s an honest way to make a living.
