R K Industries

R K Industries is located over at Plot No. 55 in Phase 2 of the Gidc. We have been operating out of this same spot for a number of years now. Mostly, we spend our time on the shop floor dealing with various industrial components. It’s a noisy place because the machines are usually running from morning until late evening. We don't have much of an office staff, just a couple of people to handle the bills and the phone. Most of us are out there actually making the parts. We started with just a couple of lathes and have slowly added more equipment as we could afford it. It is not a shiny new facility, but the machines are well-maintained and they do what they are supposed to do. You won't find any corporate slogans on the walls here, just calendars and maybe a few notes about the next job. We get our raw materials delivered at the front gate of Plot No. 55 and ship out the finished goods from the same side. It can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock waiting to go out. We just try to do honest work and keep our customers happy so they come back next time. Dealing with Gidc logistics can be a headache sometimes, but we manage. It’s just us doing our thing every day in Phase 2. We like it here.
