Polymer Casing has been operating out of Plot No. C1b/1307/5 for several years now. We are located in Phase 4 of the Gidc, which is a pretty crowded part of the industrial zone. We work with plastics and casings, which means there’s often a smell of melting polymer in the air. You get used to it after a while, though visitors usually mention it right away. The building isn't anything special to look at, just concrete and metal like everything else on this street. We have a few injection molding machines that take up most of the space on the shop floor. It’s a bit cramped, and we’re always shuffling boxes around to make more room. The guys who work here are local and we’ve all known each other for ages. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If someone comes to the door, whoever is closest just wipes their hands on a rag and goes to see what they need. We spend our days watching the gauges and making sure the plastic flows right. Sometimes a mold gets stuck and we have to spend an hour prying it loose, which usually involves a lot of effort and some heavy tools. We don't bother with fancy brochures or sales pitches. People just know that if they need casings made, they can come to Plot No. C1b/1307/5 and we’ll figure out a way to do it for them. It's just honest work in a busy place.
