Nippon Electrical Industries

Our workshop, Nippon Electrical Industries, is tucked away in Plot No. 463/12 within Phase 1 of the Panchayat Ind Estate. If you’re looking for us, we’re not too far from the Sadvichar Eye Hospital, which is the main landmark around here. The GIDC lanes can be a real headache to navigate, especially when the big delivery trucks are blocking the narrow turns. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the floor has seen better days, but the equipment still works just fine. We spend our days surrounded by wires, panels, and the smell of solder. It’s not the cleanest work, but it’s what we do. There’s a small window near my desk that looks out onto the next plot, but there’s mostly just a brick wall to see. We have a small crew, and we’ve all known each other for years, so we don't need much talk to get through the day. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight for most of us. We don't have any big corporate mission or fancy slogans. We just try to make sure the electrical components are done right and that we don't fall behind on the schedule. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof when the sun is high, but the fans help a little. Just a regular day at 463/12.
