Natraj Industries is tucked away at Plot No. C-2/a-5, right behind Lalji Mulji Transport in Phase-2 of the Gidc. Being behind a transport company means there are always big trucks blocking the view, but it makes things easier for shipping. Our shop is a busy one. We have machines running most of the day, and the floor is usually covered in scraps of material. It is a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of equipment packed into the space. We don’t really have a lobby for visitors. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the work area. We spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the machines are calibrated right. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, which can be tiring by the end of the day. The guys here have a good sense of humor, which helps when things get stressful or the weather gets too humid. We have a small break area where we eat lunch and talk about local news or cricket. It’s a very grounded kind of life. We don’t make a big deal out of what we do. We just focus on getting the orders ready for the trucks that are waiting outside. It’s noisy, dusty, and honest work, and that is exactly how we like it.
