National Trading Company

National Trading Company is over at Plot No. C-11. We are right opposite Vijay Transport in Phase-2 of the Gidc. It’s a good spot because the transport guys are right there when we need to ship something out. Our place is basically just a big warehouse with a small corner partitioned off for a desk and a phone. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks moving in and out of the lane. We’ve been trading from here for quite a while. It's not a complicated business. We buy things, we store them, and we sell them. We don't have a big team, just a few guys to help with the heavy lifting and loading. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. We don't use any big software to track things. We just use a ledger and some notebooks. It works for us. The tea stall at the corner is where we spend our breaks. Everyone in this part of Phase-2 knows us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do our bit and keep things ticking over. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but we’re used to it. We just stay focused on the crates and the deliveries. Even when it's raining hard and the road floods, we still try to get the trucks loaded up.
