Maruti Dyechem Industries

Maruti Dyechem Industries is situated inside the Rajmata Rubber Compound, which is part of Phase-2 in GIDC. Our specific location is Plot No. C-1/b-6. Being inside a compound means we share a bit of space with other businesses, which can be good and bad. It’s a very industrial setting, with plenty of chemical smells and the sound of heavy machinery. We work with dyes and chemicals, so the floor is always a bit stained, no matter how much we scrub it. It’s just the nature of the trade. We started this unit with just a few basic tanks and mixers. Over time, we’ve added a bit more, but it’s still a very straightforward operation. There are no corporate meetings or long emails here. We usually just talk things over while standing around the equipment. The workers here are mostly local people who have been in this industry for a long time. They know the hard work involved. We keep our overheads low so we can stay competitive. Sometimes the logistics of getting supplies into the compound can be a headache, especially on Mondays when everyone is receiving goods. But we’ve learned to deal with the quirks of the location. We are just a group of people trying to make a living by producing something useful. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s our job and we stick to it. We keep the gate open for deliveries and hope for a smooth day.
