Kundan Refractories

Our unit is located at Plot No. 11 in G. I. D. C. Phase - III of the Naroda Industrial Estate. It’s a big area, and finding the right plot can be a headache if you don’t know your way around. We work with refractories, so there is a lot of fireclay and heavy bricks involved in our daily routine. It’s a dusty kind of job. You can’t really help it when you’re dealing with these kinds of materials. We have our kilns and our storage sheds all squeezed into the plot. Kundan Refractories has been a fixture in Naroda for quite a while. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest company in the estate. We just focus on making sure the bricks are fired right and the batches are consistent. Most of our day is spent checking temperatures or loading trucks that come to the yard. The air is thick and the work is hard on the back, but it’s what we do. We have a small corner for the accounts and the phone, but otherwise, it’s all industrial space. The tea stall down the road is where we usually catch a break. It’s a no-nonsense type of place. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the work we’ve done and the people we know from around the estate.
