Harikripa Rubbers

Working with rubber is a bit of a messy job, but we've been doing it at Harikripa Rubbers for quite some time now. Our place is at Plot No. 1216/8 over in Phase 4 of the GIDC. You can usually tell when you're close because of the smell of raw materials being processed. It’s an industrial area, so nobody really minds. We have a few old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought last year. Our team is small, mostly just locals who live nearby and walk or bike to work. We spend a lot of time checking the molds and making sure everything is cooled down properly before we pack it up. The office is just a corner of the main floor partitioned off with some plywood. It’s not very quiet, but it works for what we need. We get a lot of orders from other factories in the GIDC who need parts for their own machines. We don’t really go out looking for work; it usually just comes to us by word of mouth. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, but mostly we stick to the regular hours. It’s honest work and we like being part of the community here in Phase 4. It gets dusty, and the floors are always stained, but that’s just how a rubber factory looks. We’re just here doing our bit every day.
