H L Enterprise has been operating out of Plot No. 310/2 in Phase 1 of the Gidc for a long time. If you walk through this part of the industrial estate, you’ll see plenty of shops just like ours, but we’ve made this specific corner our own. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings from whatever we were working on that morning. It isn't a place for suits or polished shoes. We wear work boots and clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. Most days start around eight when the tea stall down the road opens up. We grab a cup and then head inside to start the machines. The noise can be a lot sometimes, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. Our address on Plot 310/2 isn't too hard to find once you get into Phase 1, though the trucks parked in the lane sometimes make it a squeeze. We keep a small kettle in the back for the afternoons when we need a break. There’s no big sign outside, just the name painted near the door. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes through the door and try to handle the orders without making too much of a fuss. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we know where to move the equipment so nothing gets wet. It’s just a normal workshop where we put in our hours and go home.
