G K Enterprise

Our place, G K Enterprise, is over in Phase 3 of the Gidc. We are at Plot No. C1/49/1, right across from the Ambica Weigh Bridge Gate No 2. It is a good landmark because everyone knows where the weigh bridge is. The area is full of warehouses and small factories. It gets quite dusty when the big trucks roll past our gate. We spend a lot of our time just managing the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It is a lot of physical work. The building itself is nothing special, just a solid structure that keeps the rain off the stock. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on the door. Most of the people who come by are regulars who already know the way. We keep a fan going in the office corner because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. There is always some paperwork to sign or a delivery to check. We do not use a lot of fancy technology, just the basics to keep the records straight. It is a quiet life most days, punctuated by the sound of gates opening and closing. We like being in this part of Gidc. It is practical for our needs. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing until it is time to lock up and head home for the evening.
