Deekay Fluorine Industries

Our facility is tucked away behind Arbuda Estate in Phase-2 of the GIDC. It is Plot 213 and 214/1. It is a pretty large area, which we need for all the tanks and piping we have. Working with fluorine and chemicals is not like other businesses. You have to be careful and follow the steps exactly every time. We spend a lot of time checking valves and making sure everything is sealed up tight. It is a lot of metal and concrete. I remember when we first moved here, there were hardly any other buildings nearby. Now, the whole estate is packed. We know the security guards at the gate and the guys who deliver the gas cylinders. It is a community of sorts. Inside the office, it is mostly just shelves of records and a few old computers. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby with chairs. If someone comes by, they usually just find us out on the floor or in the small cabin near the back. The smell of the industry is something you carry home on your clothes. My wife always tells me to leave my boots by the door. It is a steady job. We have had some of the same customers for ten years or more. They know where we are and they know we just do the work without making a big fuss about it. We just keep the wheels turning.
