Camex Industries

We are based at Plot No. 631 in Phase 4 of the Gidc. Camex Industries is just one of many units in this section of the industrial estate. Our building is a simple, functional structure that serves its purpose for our daily manufacturing work. There is usually a lot of noise from the heavy equipment running, so we often have to shout to be heard over the hum. The floor is made of hard concrete and it’s seen a lot of wear over the years. We spend most of our time managing the production line and making sure the raw materials are being used correctly. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping an eye on the gauges. We have a small room where we keep our lunch boxes and take a few minutes to rest during the afternoon heat. The Gidc can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, but we are easy enough to find if you follow the road markers for Phase 4. We don’t bother with much advertising or fancy signs on the door. People who need us usually just know where we are. The workspace is filled with the smell of oil and metal, which is just part of the job. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we just focus on getting the daily quota done before the sun goes down and we head home.
