Being near a petrol pump is actually pretty handy, both for giving directions and for our own needs. This part of G. I. D. C. is usually pretty active. There are always people moving about and vehicles coming in for service or fuel. Our unit, C-1-276, is a straightforward industrial space. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It’s just the name on the door and the work going on inside. The interior is filled with the tools and parts we use every day. It can get a bit oily and messy, but that’s the nature of the work we do. We’ve been in this Phase-1 spot for quite a while now, and we know most of the people in the neighboring units. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps pass the time, especially on those long afternoons when the heat is coming off the pavement outside.
