Arunaya Organics Private Limited

Out here in Naroda, things move at their own pace. Plot No: C - 8 in Phase II of the GIDC is where we call home. Ahmedabad is hot for most of the year, so our office at Arunaya Organics usually has the fans going full speed. We’ve been set up here for a bit, dealing with organic materials and whatever the day brings. The industrial estate is a maze of similar-looking buildings, but we know our corner well. There is always a smell of something being processed in the air around here. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, and we’ve become a bit of a small family. We don't have those glass-walled offices you see in the city center. It’s more about concrete floors and sturdy desks. Sometimes a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s just work. We show up, we do the processing, and we go home. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down. It’s a quiet kind of busy. There is a small tea stall at the corner of the lane where we go when we need a break from the noise. We’ve had the same delivery driver for three years now, and he always brings the news from the other side of the estate.
