If you drive down to Phase 3 of the GIDC, you will find us at Plot No. C1/30/42. Ambuja Agrochem Industries has been operating from this site for quite some time. It is a practical setup we have here. Mostly, it is about managing the chemicals and making sure the storage is handled right. The sun gets pretty hot on the roof in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. There is always a smell of earth or something industrial in the air, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a small crew. Everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing, so things usually run without too much trouble. Sometimes the logistics get messy when the narrow roads in GIDC get blocked up by big trailers, but we manage to find a way. Our workspace is not a showroom. It is full of bags, drums, and paperwork that seems to pile up on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the gauges. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. People stop by for pickups and we just get on with it. We like being in this part of the estate because it is close to the main transport routes. That helps a lot when we are trying to get things shipped out on time.
