Akshat Enterprise

Akshat Enterprise is over in Phase 3 of the GIDC at Plot No. 7/a/5. This part of the industrial area is always busy with workers and small tempos carrying goods. Our building is a basic industrial unit with high ceilings and a big sliding door at the front for loading. Inside, we have our equipment laid out so we have enough room to move around without bumping into each other. It’s mostly metalwork and assembly that happens here on a daily basis. You’ll hear the sound of drills and the occasional clanging of metal parts being stacked. We don't have a lot of fancy automation; a lot of the work is done by hand or with manual tools by the guys on the floor. The office is just a partitioned area with a fan that squeaks a little when it’s on high. We keep our tools on big racks against the wall so we don't lose them, though things still go missing from time to time. It gets quite dusty because of all the activity in Phase 3, so we are always cleaning off the workbenches. We have a regular routine that starts around eight in the morning and goes until the sun starts to set. It’s a solid place to work, and everyone knows what is expected of them. We don’t spend much time on meetings; we just look at what needs doing and get started on it. It keeps our days full.
