Akash Colours

Akash Colours is based at Plot No. 314/1/2/b 313/13/b in Phase 1 of Gidc. That is a long address, but it basically just means we have a decent amount of space in the first phase of the estate. It is an older area, so the buildings have that worn-in look. We deal with dyes and pigments, so you can imagine that the place is never really clean. There are splashes of blue or red on almost every surface, including our shoes. It is just part of the job when you work with colors. The air can be a bit heavy with the smell of the stuff we use, so we always keep the shutters wide open. We do not have a fancy reception area. If someone comes to visit, they usually find us near the mixing tanks. We have a small office for the paperwork, but it is mostly filled with sample jars and old files. The workers here are a good bunch who do not mind getting their hands dirty. We do not do things the corporate way. If a batch is not looking right, we just fix it until it is. We spend our days watching the mixers and checking the weights. Phase 1 is a loud place, but we have been here so long it just feels like background noise. We just focus on getting through the day's list and keeping everything moving along.
