Agarwal Plastic Industries

Agarwal Plastic Industries is located at Plot No. 628 in Phase 4 of the Gidc. It’s a straightforward setup. We work with plastics, so there’s always that specific smell in the air around our plot. The building is functional. We have our machines lined up and the raw materials stacked near the entrance. It’s not the kind of place that looks pretty for photos. We have grease on our hands and dust on our shoes most of the time. The Phase 4 area is quite cramped, so we have to be careful how we park the scooters and trucks. We’ve been at 628 for some time now and know all the quirks of the building, like which window rattles when the wind blows hard. It’s a team effort here. We don’t have managers in suits; we all just pitch in where it’s needed. When a big order comes in, we stay a bit later and keep the lights on. The local chai wallah knows our usual order by heart. It’s a simple life. We don’t talk about being the leaders in anything. We just make the plastic goods and send them out to whoever bought them. It’s a practical way to earn a living in a tough industrial zone. We just keep our heads down and focus on the machines. There are always boxes stacked up ready to go out to customers. It can get a bit chaotic when we have several deliveries arriving at once, but we always manage.
