Aden Engineers is tucked away at Plot No. 329, right behind the Lions School in Phase-1 of the Gidc. You can hear the school bell sometimes if the wind is blowing the right way. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while. It’s a handy location, though the road gets a bit bumpy near our gate. We mostly do engineering repairs and part fabrication. It’s the kind of work where your hands stay dirty most of the day. We aren't interested in being the biggest firm around. We just want to do a job that we can be okay with at the end of the shift. The shop floor is a bit crowded with tools and old parts we might need later. Some people might call it a mess, but we know exactly where everything is. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. It's just us. We talk to our customers directly, usually while standing next to a lathe or a welding machine. It’s a lot of manual labor and figuring out how to fix things that have broken down. We take pride in just being steady. If you come by, don't expect a waiting room with magazines. You’ll probably just get a stool and maybe a cup of tea if the pot is on. We’re just local people doing engineering work for the neighborhood. It’s not fancy, but it is real.
