Aakruti Wood Products

We have been operating out of the Jalaram Compound for a good while now. It is located right in the Vaishwakarma Estate area, just off NH-8 in Naroda. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with different kinds of wood and various tools. It is dusty and noisy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We make basic things that people need for their houses or local shops. Some days are slow and quiet, while others we are rushing around trying to finish an order on time. My brother and I started this because we knew how to handle wood and saw a way to earn a living. We do not have a big office or anything polished like that, just the workshop here in Naroda. You can usually hear the machines running from the road if the traffic is not too loud. People often come by to ask about furniture frames or simple repairs. We just try to be fair and get the job done. It involves a lot of manual labor, like lifting heavy planks and cutting them down to size. The highway gets really busy in the afternoons, making it hard to hear ourselves talk. We have a few local guys who help us out when the work piles up. It is not a fancy setup, but it works for us. Sometimes we run out of a specific wood and have to wait for the next truck to arrive. That is just how things go.
