Narian Timber Trading Co.

We have been running Narian Timber Trading Co. out of Nangloi for a long time now. The shop is located at 3-A in Amar Colony, right along Rohtak Road. It is a busy spot and the traffic never really stops. If you walk inside, you will smell the sawdust immediately. It gets everywhere, on the desks and on our clothes, but that is just part of the job. We deal with all kinds of wood and timber. The yard is usually full of stacks that we move around all day. It’s not a fancy office. We have some chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork, but most of the work happens outside. People from all over the area come by looking for specific cuts or just to see what we have in stock. Rohtak Road can be a headache for deliveries sometimes because of the trucks, but we manage to get things moved. Amar Colony has changed since we first started, but we are still in the same place. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the wood well. We spend our time checking the quality of the timber coming in and making sure the orders are ready. Some days are quieter than others, which gives us time to organize the piles. We are not doing anything complicated here. It is just a straightforward timber business where we try to get through the daily tasks and help people find what they need for their building projects.
