Remi Sales Engg Ltd. is based at number 22 in Nathalal Colony. We are right near Sardar Patel Colony in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. It is a decent neighborhood, mostly quiet compared to the main roads. Our office is a converted house, so it feels a bit more personal than a big glass building. We have been here for a long time. Inside, there are shelves filled with parts and catalogues. We deal with engineering equipment, so there is always some technical talk going on. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the routine inside out. We don’t have a big reception area or a secretary. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customers and checking on orders. The garden outside is a bit overgrown, but it’s a nice place to sit for a minute. Ahmedabad is hot for most of the year, so we keep the AC running constantly. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a group of people selling engineering goods. We have our regulars who come in and sit for a chat before getting down to business. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We just focus on getting the right parts to the right people without making a fuss about it. We try to be helpful whenever we can.
