Nakul Tyres

You can find us at 11/A in Sneh Nagar. We are right on the Sapna Sangeeta Main Road so it gets very noisy with all the cars. The smell of rubber is everywhere here. It is something you just get used to after a week. We have stacks of tyres reaching almost to the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like they might fall over if someone sneezes too hard. We spend the day moving them around and checking treads. My hands are usually stained with black dust by lunchtime. We eat in the small back room while watching the traffic through the gate. It is a basic operation. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Just the racks and a few tools. People stop by because they have a flat or they need a replacement. We talk to them about their cars and the roads. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and it gets pretty hot. We have an old cooler that rattles but it keeps the air moving. Nakul is usually around or one of the boys. We don't use big words or try to sell things people don't need. If a tyre is good for another thousand miles, we say so. It is just about being fair and getting the work done. The main road never really sleeps so there is always something to look at. We stay busy enough to not mind the noise too much.
