Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd.

We are located in Shrinandnagar Part-II, over in the Vejalpur area of Ahmedabad. It is a very hot place to work, especially in the late afternoons when the sun is hitting the concrete. We have a small office in the H block where we keep all the site plans and the daily accounts. Most of our day is actually spent out in the sun, watching the mixers and making sure the rebar is placed exactly where it should be. We have a steady crew of laborers who have been working with us for quite a few projects now. We do not do much advertising at all. People usually find us by seeing our boards at the construction sites or by word of mouth. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when we need to focus on the numbers and the planning. We get a lot of dust in the office because of all the nearby construction work going on. It is just part of the daily job. Sometimes we have small issues with the water supply or the electricity, but we always find ways around it. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to finish the work we started without making too many mistakes. It takes a lot of patience to work in this Gujarat heat. We drink plenty of chai and keep moving. That is how things go for us here. We just keep our heads down and work on the next floor.
