You can find Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited over at Sarthik 211 and 212 on S.G. Road. We are right opposite the Rajpath Club, so it’s easy to tell people where we are when they get lost in Ahmedabad traffic. The area is always buzzing with cars and people. Our office inside the Sarthik building is where all the planning happens. It’s usually a bit of a mess with blueprints spread out over the tables and empty cups everywhere. We don’t really bother with making things look perfect for visitors; we’re too busy making sure the construction schedules are on track. Some days the elevators are slow, and we end up taking the stairs which is good exercise for the legs I guess. The noise from the road never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two. We have a few guys who have been here since the start, and they’ve seen the whole area change over the years. We just keep doing our thing, coordinating with the site managers and trying to stay ahead of the deadlines. It's a lot of talking on the phone and checking the weather forecasts to see if we can work. It’s practical work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. Just an office on a busy road where we get things built. No fuss, just daily effort.
