M/S Safexpress

Being located near Jivraj Park in Ahmedabad means we deal with a lot of local hustle every day. M/S Safexpress is right there near Don Bosco English School at Bhumika Apartments. It’s a busy spot. The morning starts early when the school buses are around and we are trying to get the first set of loads ready. It’s hot here for most of the year so the fan stays on all day. We handle a lot of different items and the warehouse floor is always full of something or the other. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. We have old chairs and desks that have seen better days. The staff knows exactly where every crate is even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the routes. Sometimes a driver is late or a truck needs a repair and we have to figure it out on the fly. It is just the way things are in the transport business. We don't use big words or fancy strategies. We just look at the schedule and try to stick to it. The area is familiar to everyone around here. People drop by just to say hello or check on a delivery. We’ve been at this for a bit and we just focus on the task in front of us, making sure the work gets done before the sun sets.
