M.S Khurana Engg. Ltd

You can find us at Pradeep Kumar Padhi’s place, Vijay Bhuban, in the Kalol area of Gandhinagar. It is a bit of a drive out into the Gujarat district, but we have been here for a while. M.S Khurana Engg. Ltd is an engineering outfit, but we don't act like a big corporate firm. The office is located in a regular building where we handle all our engineering plans and local site work. The roads around Kalol can get quite dusty, especially when there is construction going on nearby, so we are always cleaning the windows. We have a small group of engineers and staff who work here. It is a lot of looking at technical drawings and talking to contractors on the phone. We don't have any polished speeches or marketing materials to give out. We just show people what we are working on if they ask. It is a very hands-on type of business. Most days involve a lot of tea and discussing how to solve a particular problem on a site. We stay focused on the work at hand and don't worry too much about looking fancy. It is a simple place where we try to get things done right. We have seen the area grow a lot, but our way of working has stayed mostly the same over the years. We just keep moving from one engineering project to the next without making a fuss about it or overcomplicating the daily tasks.
