M/S Afcons Infrastructure Ltd

Our setup is a bit different because it’s based out in Krishnaballavpur. That’s in the Ghatal area of Midnapore West. It’s a village, so things move at a slower pace than the big cities. We’re at Samirkumar Santra’s place, care of Avijitkumar Santra. In a village like this, everyone knows whose house is whose. It’s not like a city block where you need a GPS. We handle the local infrastructure bits for M/S Afcons Infrastructure Ltd from here. Post office is Kantadaraja. It’s a very rural setting, lots of green around and the roads can be a bit tricky during the monsoon. We don't have a fancy office building. It’s more of a home-based coordination point. We sit together, discuss the projects nearby, and manage the workers. There’s a lot of local talk, and we know the land well. Life here is simple. We don't have air conditioning or fancy office chairs. We just use what’s available. It’s an honest way of working. Most of our day is spent visiting sites and coming back here to update the records. It feels very personal because we are right in the middle of the community. People drop by just to say hello or ask about the work. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity here. We are just local people trying to get the infrastructure jobs done right in our own district. It is just us and the land here.
