M/S Afcons Infrastracture Ltd

We’re currently based over at Site No 2250, right inside the Pipavav Shipyard area in Gujarat. It’s a massive place near Kovaya village in the Rajula district. Working here is quite something because of the scale of the shipyard and the wind coming off the coast. Our office is a C/O setup within the shipyard itself, so we’re right in the thick of the industrial noise and activity. Being part of the Afcons crew here means you get used to the smell of the sea and the sound of heavy metal moving around. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have fancy carpets or quiet hallways. Everything is about the project at hand. We spend our days coordinating with the shipyard folks and making sure our infrastructure work doesn’t get in their way. It’s a lot of logistics and trying to stay organized when there’s so much happening at once. The local area around Rajula is pretty dry, and the sun can be brutal when you're out on the site. We just try to get through the daily checklist and keep everyone safe. It’s not a glamorous life, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing these big structures come together. We don't do much talking; we just focus on the steel and the concrete. It’s what we’re here for and it keeps our days full from start to finish.
