Movement Material Handling Co.

We run Movement Material Handling Co. out of 3 Jaltarang Apartments. This is in Anand Park Society, which sits right opposite Hedgevar Bhavan near the Old Dhor Bazar in Kanakaria. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a company that deals with heavy equipment, but it works for us. We use the ground floor space to keep our records and some of the smaller parts. The bigger stuff is usually kept elsewhere or sent straight to the sites. There are only a few of us here. Most of the time, we are out on the road or talking to people on the phone about their machinery needs. The office is pretty basic with just a couple of desks, a filing cabinet, and a lot of technical manuals. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy decor. We focus on getting the right equipment to the right people. Sometimes the neighborhood gets very congested, especially on market days, so we have to plan our movements carefully. We have been in Kanakaria for quite a while and have a good relationship with the people living in the apartments around us. It’s a modest way to run a business. We don't have any big slogans or mission statements hanging on the wall. We just show up and do what needs to be done to keep things moving. It is a simple, honest living.
