Mouse On Design

We’ve been at 202, Hiscan House for a long time now. It’s right near the Mithakhali Underbridge, so the traffic outside can get pretty loud during the morning rush. Most days, we’re just sitting at our desks with our monitors on, working through different design projects for various people. It’s a small space, but it works for us. We started out just doing a few things for neighbors and it grew from there over the years. There’s always someone coming in or the phone ringing while we’re trying to finish up a layout or a drawing. Sometimes the internet acts up, which is annoying, but we manage to get through it. People know where to find us because of the landmark, even if parking is a bit of a nightmare in this part of town. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of those corporate perks you see in big cities. It’s just a place where we sit and get the work done. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We keep things pretty simple here. We don’t go for big presentations. Usually, it’s just us showing what we’ve done on a screen and talking it through. If you walk past Hiscan House, you might see us through the window or hear us talking about font sizes. It’s a normal office life in Mithakhali. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit.
