If you go down Nicholson Road at Kashmere Gate, you’ll find us between 1384 and 1388. Motorlife Industries Of India is right in the middle of one of the busiest auto parts markets you can imagine. It’s constant movement here with rickshaws, carts, and people carrying boxes on their shoulders. Our space is packed from floor to ceiling with parts and components. There’s barely enough room to walk in some of the aisles. The air smells like rubber and metal, and there’s always a layer of grease on the door handles. We spend our days digging through bins and checking part numbers. It’s loud and it’s chaotic, but that’s Kashmere Gate for you. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, we are just helping someone find a specific piece they need for an engine or a chassis. The building is old and the stairs are a bit steep. We have a small desk where we keep the bills, and it’s usually covered in grease smudges. It’s a hard place to work if you don't like noise. Sometimes we have to shout just to be heard over the street traffic. We’ve been here long enough that the chaos feels normal. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay busy until it's time to lock up and head home through the crowd.
