Our shop is right on the Main Road, number 8-24-23. Being on a main road means it is always noisy and there is a lot of traffic passing by. The front of the place is mostly glass so people can see inside, but the dust from the road makes it hard to keep clean. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floor and wiping down the counters. It’s a busy spot, and we get all sorts of people walking in throughout the day. Some are just looking and others know exactly what they need. We have been in this location for quite a while, so the building is starting to look a bit old. The shelves are filled with stock, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down. We don't have a fancy back office; everything happens right here in the front. Behind the counter, there’s usually a pile of bills and a calculator that has seen better days. When it rains, we have to move some of the stock away from the door so it doesn't get wet. It’s just a regular local business where we know most of the people who walk through the door. We don't have any big corporate rules, we just talk to people and help them find what they are looking for. It is a long day from morning to night, but we like it here.
