Modi Motors Pvt. Ltd. is based in the Modi Tower at 98, Nehru Place. Our office is number 1400. Nehru Place is a really busy hub in Delhi, and the tower is one of the big buildings that everyone uses as a landmark. Being up on the 14th floor, we get a pretty good view of the city, though we’re usually too busy with paperwork to look out the window much. The building has elevators that can be a bit slow during the lunch rush when everyone is trying to get downstairs at the same time. We deal with motor parts and sales, so there’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and customers. The office is decent-sized but it always feels full because of all the files and samples we keep on hand. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It gets quite crowded in the lobby downstairs with all the people coming and going from the various offices. Parking around Nehru Place is always a struggle, so most of our staff just takes the metro. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just come in, answer the emails, talk to the people who drop by, and make sure the business keeps running. It’s a professional enough environment but we keep it pretty informal among ourselves. We just make sure the motors get to where they need to be on time.
