Modern Cargo Services Pvt.Ltd. is located out on Thaltej-Silaj Road. It’s a pretty decent area of Ahmedabad, though the traffic gets a bit much during the rush hours. We’ve got our setup here in Thaltej and we spend most of our time dealing with cargo and all the mess that comes with it. It’s not the kind of work that looks good in a brochure, but it’s what we know. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. Every day is a bit different depending on what’s coming in or going out. Sometimes the weather in Gujarat makes things a bit slow, especially when it’s raining hard and the roads get messy. But we just keep at it. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the work done. We handle a lot of different types of goods. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time, so we kind of know how to handle the glitches when they happen. It’s a lot of coordination between drivers and the warehouse guys. We don’t really bother with big corporate talk because we’re usually too busy making sure the crates are actually on the move. Thaltej is growing fast, and we’re right in the middle of that growth. It keeps things interesting. We just try to stay honest and do our bit.
