Modern Cargo Service Pvt Ltd is based at 8/D-E Trade Ctr in Navrangpura, right across from the Sardar Patel Stadium. Being near the stadium means there is always something happening nearby, which keeps things interesting for us. Our office in the Trade Center is where all the cargo planning happens. We deal with moving all sorts of goods, and in a city like Ahmedabad, that keeps us very busy. The office is pretty functional. We have large desks for spreading out manifests and shipping documents. It’s not the kind of place with a fancy reception area. We prefer to spend our time making sure the cargo is actually moving rather than worrying about how the office looks. The heat in Navrangpura can be tough in the summer, but we have some old fans and coolers that keep us going. We’ve been at this location for a good while, so we know all the local vendors and the other businesses in the building. We don’t go for any of that high-level marketing talk. We just tell people what can be done and how long it will take. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, but we just stay late and get through it together.
