We’re located over at Plot No. 836/3 in the Kothari Estate. It’s in the Santej area, near the Colour Flex building, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Being in Kalol, Gandhinagar, we’re a bit away from the main city, which is fine by us. Midas Rubber and Plastic Products is basically a working factory. We have our machines for making various rubber and plastic parts, and they run for most of the day. It’s a noisy place, and it smells like a factory should, with the heat and the raw materials being processed. We don’t have a fancy front office; usually, the manager is right there on the floor with everyone else. We focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the quality is what it needs to be. Sometimes the weather in Gandhinagar gets really hot, and the shop floor feels it, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the job. Most of our guys have been doing this for years, so they know exactly how the rubber behaves when it’s being molded. We don’t spend time on fancy presentations or mission statements. We just look at the orders, set the machines, and make the parts. It’s a simple, straightforward way of doing things. If someone needs a part made, they come talk to us, and we see if we can do it. It’s honest work in a busy industrial estate every day.
