Micro Coat Industries

Micro Coat Industries is located in the Alembic Glass Industries Compound, right across from the Kadugodi Police Station in Whitefield. Whitefield has turned into a big tech hub, but our little corner is still very much about industrial work. We have been doing coating and surface treatments here for a long time. The workshop has that specific smell of paint and thinners that you get used to after a couple of days. We have these large booths where we apply the coatings to various metal parts. It takes a steady hand and a lot of patience to get everything looking right. We aren't a big company with a fancy board of directors. It’s just us and the guys on the floor who know the equipment inside out. We don’t do much in the way of advertising. Most of our customers are other local factories that need their parts protected from rust or wear. We spend our days checking the thickness of the coats and making sure everything is cured properly. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we take pride in seeing a finished rack of parts ready to be sent back to the customer. Sometimes it gets hectic when everyone wants their stuff at the same time, but we just keep the machines running and do what we can. It’s a solid, practical business in a changing neighborhood.
