You can find us at Parvathi Plaza on Richmond Road. We’re in suite 105. It’s a busy street with lots of cars and people walking by all day. We spend most of our time booking trips and looking at flight schedules for people. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds because there is a lot of troubleshooting when things go wrong with a booking or a hotel. I’ve been working here for a while, and the phones never seem to stop ringing. Sometimes someone walks in looking for a last-minute ticket, and we have to scramble to find something that fits their budget. The office has a few old posters on the walls of places we’ve never actually been to. Richmond Road is a good spot for a business like ours because it’s central. We know the guys at the tea stall around the corner pretty well and see them every afternoon. Most of our work is done on the computer, but we still keep a lot of physical ledgers just in case the system acts up. It’s a bit cramped when all four of us are in at the same time, but we make it work. We aren't a big travel agency with a fancy website and fancy ads. We just help people get where they need to go. Every day is a bit different depending on who calls or walks through the door.
