Gurukrupa Bag House

Our little shop, Gurukrupa Bag House, is located right in Meghani Nagar. It is a simple place where we sell all kinds of bags for school, travel, and work. We have been in this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us well. The shop is usually filled with the smell of new fabric and plastic. We don't have any flashy lights or big displays. We just hang the bags on the walls and from the ceiling so people can see the colors. Sometimes the zippers get stuck and we have to fix them right there. We aren't some big chain store. It’s just a family business where we take turns sitting at the counter. When school season starts, the place gets really busy with kids looking for new backpacks. We try to keep things organized but it is hard when the shop is small. We don't spend much on advertising because the locals just walk by and see what we have. We like chatting with the neighbors who stop in to say hello. Sometimes we just sit outside when it’s quiet. We know the names of most of the families who live on this street. It’s a nice community to be part of. We just do our best to keep a good variety of bags on hand for whatever people might need. It’s a quiet life but we enjoy it.
