Meera Clinic

We are located right at 4 Shantimani Society which is just near the K K Nagar cross road. If you know the Ghatlodiya area at all you probably pass by this society every day without thinking much about it. Our clinic is basically a small ground floor space that stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the pavement outside. There is a small gate you have to push open and it usually makes a bit of a squeaky sound when it moves. Inside the walls are just plain white and we have a couple of benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The cross road can get a bit hectic during rush hour so you hear the bikes and the horns quite clearly from the front room. We have been here long enough that most of the neighbors in Shantimani Society just wave when they walk past the window. It is not a place with a lot of fancy gadgets or glowing signs. We just have the basic stuff like a thermometer and a wooden desk that has been here for years. Most people come in for the usual things like a fever or an upset stomach. We keep the place clean but it’s definitely a lived-in space where everything has its own specific spot on the shelf. We usually close up once the street lights come on and the people in Ghatlodian are heading home for dinner.
