Meditronics (India)

If you go to the Arvind Industrial Estate at number 27, you’ll find Meditronics (India). It’s an easy spot to locate because we are right below Saraswati School. You can hear the kids playing during their break times, which makes the day feel a bit different than most industrial spots. Being near C.T.M. Road means there's always a truck or a bus passing by. We work on electronics for medical use. It's a lot of small parts and careful assembly. Our space isn't huge, but we've organized it so everything has a place. The workshop gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have some fans going. Most of the guys live nearby, so we're a local crew. We've been at this address for quite a bit now. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we're here below the school. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, do the assembly, check the boards, and pack them up. Sometimes the school bell rings and we realize it's already lunch time. It's a nice rhythm to the day. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist, just the work floor and a small desk for the bills. It’s a decent place to spend the day working on something useful for the hospitals.
