Maxim Exports

Our office is on the 5th floor of Norquest House, which is right near Lion’s Hall at the Mithakhali Six Roads. Maxim Exports has been here for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the view of the traffic down below. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always something to look at when we take a break from the screens. We do a lot of exporting, which involves a lot of coordinating with warehouses and shipping companies. It’s mostly just us making sure the dates line up and the cargo is ready to go. The office is a bit crowded with samples of things we’ve sent out over the years. We have a small team, and we all know whose turn it is to make the tea. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy; if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. We try to be honest about how long things will take, because shipping can be unpredictable. Sometimes there’s a storm or a strike, and we just have to tell the truth and deal with the fallout. We aren't big on corporate jargon or anything like that. We just want to get the job done so we can go home to our families. It’s a straightforward business, and we try to keep it that way. Being near Mithakhali Six Roads is convenient for getting around, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare sometimes.
